New York Nightlife
First night landing in excellent Japanese food with friends, Ethan, Yoshi, and Alexis, pictured above the table's treasured uni on the half-urchin.

Dropped by NewYork-Tokyo's Game Night Groove, where I was interviewed briefly by Fuji TV as a journalist, about the American games scene. "Do you think New Yorkers are getting out more, to play games? Why?" I mused for just a moment, perhaps during war time, during the winter, people feel stressed out and cooped up. After people have spent the day working on the computer, or somehow isolated from other people, games offer a good way to break the ice, to share social space with strangers and friends. A sort of social lubricant. She nodded and looked on a clipboard for her next question.

Afterwards ended up near Chinatown playing Texas Hold 'em for a small cash pot. I hadn't played cards for money since I was in college! It was fun. Talking big, and losing. Look who has the chips here? From left, Souris, Jon, Silvio, Adam, Maria.
Not pictured? Anything from February 2004. Like Miss Jackson's NippleRing or where I saw it. TK !
