Funny you should mention the Chelsea. Back in the 80's I had a facination with that building, that went hand in hand with my Sid and Nancy fascination. They upped the price on room 100, where Sid killed Nancy. I visited the Chelsea, and back then you could walk up on the floors. It was a freaky cool place. I still have to stay there one night.

Funny, that place was a lot dumpier when I was there in the 80's. Truthfully, it was not a place to feel safe in, back then. I remember hanging out around there and then feeling ready to leave. The lobby looked nothing like it does now. I remember a painting in the lobby that said "SID" on it. Hehe! Ahh memories.
