Hearing at Oakland Planning Commission on McDonald's at Grand Lake

Hearing at Oakland Planning Commission on McDonald's at Grand Lake
A neighborhood on the rise fights the replacement of a run-down old drive in with a high visibility drive-thru only McDonald's in a new pedestrian corridor.
One of the planning comissioners received a death threat over this case
Part of McD's application to the city involves the installation of "a new 1,500 gallon underground grease interceptor"
What revenue projections did the franchisee submit to McD's? That would be evidence of their knowledge of the potential impact on the neighborhood - can't earn money there without bringing in scads of cars.
CHecker - if developers & McD's says there will be no additional neighborhood impact because there will be no additional customers over the existing Kwik-Way Drive In, how about they volunteer all profits from customers exceeding the current amount to neighborhood improvement?
