Sunday 7.02.00 It's our last day, and I'm rushing around trying to gather any final materials possible from the remaining booths. An advance copy of Dungeons & Dragons, 3rd Edition would be a great souvenir indeed. But no luck! Instead, a nice woman from Wizards of the Coast named Dorcas gives me starter packs for two collectible card games, WCW Nitro and MLB Baseball. Must get these games to my nephews! I switched seats with this kid so he could sit with his family, have a window seat, etcetera. Then first thing he does once we're airborne, he cranks his seat back so I can't type comfortably. When I sight him over the seat, he is leaning forward looking out the window. aArgh. Fortunately there's a seat between me and Llana, so I lean over to my right, fire up the laptop, plug in padded headphones, tune in Jimi Hendrix mp3s and start recollecting Klingon Exotic Dance. When I get home, after all that time around social gameplayers, I'm going out first thing to buy an immersive single-player computer game - Deus Ex. Mmmm, tasty!
