teaching resume:

Personal Storytelling Workshop, five days with the Space Invaders, Copenhagen, Denmark, May 1999

February 1995 until I graduated Swarthmore College, I held Swarthmore InterNet Novices and Experts Rhythmic Seminars (SINNERS), where people of every skill level developed their web page making abilities.

In the spring of 1996, I conducted a Web Ethics class at Swarthmore College which provided both an overview of web publishing, and a look at some ethical questions involved.

I taught basic HTML in a single session with Denise Caruso on MSNBC's the Site, and a web promotion class at San Francisco's Internet Alfredo cafe. In addition, I have served as a private HTML tutor and website advisor to a number of wonderful people, including noted authors and folks you've never heard of. In 1996, I travelled across the country for six weeks, teaching HTML in over a dozen states across the south and southwest.

I have been a guest lecturer at NYU, the University of Missouri Journalism School, the Rand Corporation, New Directions for News, Lollapalooza, the Scandinavian Interactive Media Event, amongst other places.

My work experience includes time at Wired/HotWired, Electric Minds, a close working relationship with author Howard Rheingold, a partnership with Cyborganic, and time as a network administrator and computer consultant in the Chicagoland area.

Swarthmore College, Swarthmore PA - bachelor's degree, Special Major, "Meaning Context and Media."
