Babies are limited in that way they can express themselves. My nieces turn into little monsters (running, crying, noncompliant)when they are tired. Kids are a lot of work, I see now why I put off having them.

...my biological clock ticks every once in awhile. it takes ahold of me in a pent up frenzy sometimes -- and i emerge from this storm of "i want a baby NOW!" minutes later not even recognizing myself. i often say to myself, "what just got ahold of me?"

it's like temporary insanity.

i've got dreams, projects, goals...all made easier without a child. i'm happily married without child. i'm not all that big a baby-lover (i have held something like one child in my arms, and that was for five seconds).
